Indication

Relief of cough and phlegm.

Active Ingredients (per 6 tablets (daily dose))

Dihydrocodeine phosphate 24 mg
Noscapine 60 mg
dl-Methylephedrine hydrochloride 75 mg
Chlorpheniramine maleate 12 mg
L-carbocisteine 750 mg

Inactive Ingredients

Cellulose, lactose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydrogenated oil, anhydrous silicic acid, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium oxide, talc, carnauba wax

Instructions for Use

  • โœ“Take with water or lukewarm water.
Age Dose per use Times per day
Adults (15 years and older) 2 tablets 3 times daily, after meals
12 years to under 15 years 1 tablet 3 times daily, after meals

  • โœ“Follow the prescribed dosage and method strictly.
  • โœ“Children aged 12 and older should take under adult supervision.
  • โœ“To remove a tablet from the PTP sheet, press firmly on the raised side of the sheet with your fingertip to break the aluminum foil on the back, then take out the tablet. Swallowing it whole by mistake can pierce the esophageal lining and cause serious injury.
  • โœ•Do not use this product if:
  • (1) You have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients.
  • (2) The person is under 12 years of age.
  • โœ•Do not use any of the following medicines while taking this product: other cough and phlegm medicines, cold medicines, sedatives, or oral medicines containing antihistamines (such as medicines for rhinitis, motion sickness, or allergies).
  • โœ•Do not operate vehicles or machinery after taking this product (drowsiness may occur).
  • โœ•Do not take this product if you are breastfeeding. If you must take it, avoid breastfeeding while doing so.
  • โœ•Do not take more than the recommended dose or use continuously over a long period.
  • โœ“Seek immediate medical attention if any of the following serious symptoms appear:
  • โ€ข Shock (anaphylaxis): Itching of skin, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, itchy throat, difficulty breathing, palpitations, or clouded consciousness immediately after use.
  • โ€ข Stevens-Johnson syndrome / toxic epidermal necrolysis: High fever, redness of eyes, eye discharge, sores on lips, sore throat, or widespread rash or redness on skin that persists or rapidly worsens.
  • โ€ข Liver dysfunction: Fever, itching, rash, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes), dark urine, general fatigue, or loss of appetite.
  • โ€ข Aplastic anemia: Bruising, nosebleed, bleeding gums, fever, pale skin or mucous membranes, fatigue, palpitations, shortness of breath, feeling faint or unsteady, or blood in urine.
  • โ€ข Agranulocytosis: Sudden high fever, chills, or sore throat.
  • โ€ข Respiratory depression: Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.
  • โš Consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if you:
  • (1) Are under medical treatment.
  • (2) Are pregnant or possibly pregnant.
  • (3) Are elderly.
  • (4) Have ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine.
  • (5) Have any of the following symptoms: high fever, or difficulty urinating.
  • (6) Have been diagnosed with heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, liver disease, thyroid dysfunction, respiratory dysfunction, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, or obesity.
  • โœ“Stop use immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson โ€” bringing this package insert with you โ€” if any of the following symptoms appear after taking this product, as they may be side effects:
  • Skin: Rash, redness, or itching
  • Gastrointestinal: Nausea/vomiting, or loss of appetite
  • Nervous system: Dizziness
  • Urinary: Difficulty urinating
  • โœ“Stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson if the following symptoms persist or worsen: constipation, dry mouth, or drowsiness.
  • โœ“Stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson โ€” bringing this package insert with you โ€” if symptoms do not improve after 5โ€“6 doses.
  • โœ“Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not transfer to another container (this can cause mistaken use or affect quality). Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package. Also, use within 12 months of opening the aluminum pouch โ€” the box has a space to write the date you opened it, which makes this easy to track.

Additional Information

Lulu Direct S Tablets combine five active ingredients that work on a cough from different angles.
