Indication

Relief of cold symptoms: sore throat, fever, runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, chills (from fever), headache, joint pain, and muscle pain

Anhydrous caffeine 240 mg
Promethazine methylenedisalicylate 54 mg

Instructions for Use

  • βœ“Take after each meal and at bedtime, as a rule leaving at least 4 hours between doses.

  • βœ“Follow the prescribed dosage and method strictly.
  • βœ“To remove tablets from the PTP sheet: press firmly on the raised side of the sheet with your fingertip to break the aluminum foil on the back, then take out the tablet. Do not swallow the PTP sheet whole, as it may puncture the esophageal lining and cause serious injury.
  • βœ•Do not use this product if you:
  • (1) Have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients.
  • (2) Have ever had an asthma attack triggered by this product, another cold medicine, or a pain reliever/fever reducer.
  • (3) Have been diagnosed with difficulty urinating, a gastric or duodenal ulcer, or glaucoma.
  • (4) Are under 15 years of age.
  • βœ•Do not use any of the following medicines while taking this product: other cold medicines, pain relievers/fever reducers, sedatives, cough and phlegm medicines, or oral medicines containing antihistamines (such as medicines for rhinitis, motion sickness, or allergies).
  • βœ•Do not operate vehicles or machinery after taking this product (drowsiness may occur).
  • βœ•Do not drink alcohol before or after taking this product.
  • βœ•Do not use this product continuously over a long period.
  • βœ“Seek immediate medical attention if any of the following serious symptoms appear:
  • β€’ Shock (anaphylaxis): Itching of skin, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, itchy throat, difficulty breathing, palpitations, or clouded consciousness immediately after use.
  • β€’ Stevens-Johnson syndrome / toxic epidermal necrolysis / acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis: High fever, red eyes, eye discharge, sores on the lips, sore throat, widespread rash and redness, small pustules on reddened skin, general fatigue, or loss of appetite that persist or rapidly worsen.
  • β€’ Drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome: Widespread reddening of the skin, rash over the body, fever, general fatigue, or swollen lymph nodes (neck, armpits, groin).
  • β€’ Aplastic anemia: Bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, fever, pale skin or mucous membranes, fatigue, palpitations, shortness of breath, faintness, or blood in the urine.
  • β€’ Agranulocytosis: Sudden high fever, chills, or sore throat.
  • β€’ Thrombocytopenia: Bleeding symptoms such as nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or bruising, caused by a drop in blood platelets.
  • β€’ Asthma: Wheezing or difficulty breathing.
  • β€’ Interstitial pneumonia: Breathlessness when climbing stairs or on mild exertion, dry cough, or fever, appearing suddenly or persisting.
  • β€’ Liver dysfunction: Fever, itching, rash, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes), brown urine, general fatigue, or loss of appetite.
  • β€’ Kidney damage: Fever, rash, reduced urine output, swelling of the body, general fatigue, joint pain, or diarrhea.
  • β€’ Rhabdomyolysis: Pain in the muscles of the limbs, shoulders, or lower back, numbness or weakness in the limbs, stiffness, general fatigue, or reddish-brown urine.
  • β€’ Acute glaucoma attack: Sudden redness of the eye, eye pain, blurred vision, headache, or nausea.
  • ⚠Consult a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if you:
  • (1) Are under the treatment of a doctor or dentist.
  • (2) Are breastfeeding, pregnant, or possibly pregnant.
  • (3) Are elderly.
  • (4) Have ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine.
  • (5) Have a high fever.
  • (6) Have been diagnosed with heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, or bronchial asthma.
  • βœ“Stop use immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson β€” bringing this package insert with you β€” if any of the following symptoms appear after taking this product, as they may be side effects:
  • Skin: Rash, redness, itching, or swelling
  • Blood: Pale skin or mucous membranes, or anemia
  • Gastrointestinal: Nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, heartburn, abdominal pain, or gastrointestinal bleeding
  • Nervous system: Dizziness, fatigue, headache, ringing in the ears, hearing loss, visual disturbances, anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, convulsions, mild clouding of consciousness, agitation, hallucinations, or delusions
  • Respiratory: Cough or shortness of breath
  • Circulatory: High blood pressure, low blood pressure, or rapid heartbeat
  • Urinary: Difficulty urinating, or inability to urinate
  • Other: Excessive drop in body temperature, sweating, trembling, rhinitis symptoms, or conjunctivitis
  • βœ“Stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson β€” bringing this package insert with you β€” if dry mouth or drowsiness appears after use and persists or worsens.
  • βœ“Stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson β€” bringing this package insert with you β€” if symptoms do not improve after 5–6 doses.
  • βœ“Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not transfer to another container (this can cause mistaken use or affect quality). Do not use after the expiry date.
