Hemorrhoid treatment (injection ointment)
Injection ointment 10 applicators (2 g each)
Relief of pain, bleeding, swelling, and itching from hemorrhoids; topical application also provides disinfection
Active Ingredients (per 1 applicator (2 g))
Hydrocortisone acetate 5 mg
Tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride 1 mg
Lidocaine 60 mg
l-Menthol 10 mg
Allantoin 20 mg
Tocopheryl acetate 60 mg
Chlorhexidine hydrochloride 5 mg
Inactive Ingredients
Paraffin, isopropyl myristate, bleached beeswax, carbomer, olive oil, petrolatum
Instructions for Use
- ✓Two application methods are available:
- ✓(1) Injection — Remove the cap and insert only the tip of the applicator into the anus. Press to inject the full contents, then pull out while still pressing.
- ✓(2) Topical — Remove the cap and apply an appropriate amount directly to the affected area.
- ✕Do not use an applicator for injection if it has previously been used for topical application.

- ✕Do not use this product if you:
- (1) Have ever had an allergic reaction to this product, any of its ingredients, or chlorhexidine.
- (2) Have a pus-forming infection at the affected area.
- ✕Do not use this product for extended periods.
- ✓Seek immediate medical attention if the following serious symptom appears:
- • Shock (anaphylaxis): Skin itching, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, itchy throat, difficulty breathing, palpitations, or clouding of consciousness immediately after use.
- ⚠Consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if you:
- (1) Are under the care of a physician.
- (2) Are pregnant or may be pregnant.
- (3) Have ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine.
- ✓Stop use immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson — bringing this package insert with you — if any of the following symptoms appear after using this product, as they may be side effects:
- Skin: Rash, redness, itching, or swelling
- Other: Irritation or worsening infection
- ✓Stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson — bringing this package insert with you — if symptoms do not improve after 10 days.
Additional Information
If the ointment is hard to squeeze, warm the applicator in your hands until it softens.
A small amount of ointment may remain in the applicator after use — this is normal and accounted for in the fill amount.
Do not flush used applicators down the toilet.
