Indication

Diarrhea due to overeating, overdrinking, or chills

Active Ingredients (per 2 tablets (adult daily dose))

Loperamide hydrochloride 1 mg

Inactive Ingredients

D-mannitol, magnesium aluminometasilicate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, tannic acid, crospovidone, aspartame (L-phenylalanine compound), citric acid hydrate, l-menthol, fragrance, magnesium stearate

Instructions for Use

  • Dissolve in the mouth or take with water or lukewarm water. Allow at least 4 hours between doses. Stop taking once diarrhea resolves.
  • To remove tablets from the PTP sheet, press the raised side firmly to break through the aluminum foil on the back, then take out the tablet. Do not swallow the tablet while still in the sheet, as this may cause injury to the esophagus.

  • Do not use if you:
  • Have had an allergic reaction to this product or its ingredients.
  • Are under 15 years of age.
  • Have phenylketonuria. (This product contains an L-phenylalanine compound.)
  • Do not take gastrointestinal antispasmodics while using this product.
  • Do not operate vehicles or machinery after use. (Drowsiness may occur.)
  • Do not drink alcohol before or after taking this product.
  • In rare cases, the following serious symptoms may occur. Stop use immediately and seek medical attention:
  • • Shock (anaphylaxis): skin itching, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, throat itching, difficulty breathing, palpitations, or clouded consciousness shortly after use.
  • • Stevens-Johnson syndrome / toxic epidermal necrolysis: high fever, red eyes, discharge, sores on lips, sore throat, widespread rash or redness that persists or rapidly worsens.
  • • Ileus (intestinal obstruction): severe abdominal pain, cessation of gas, vomiting, or severe constipation with abdominal distension.
  • Consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if you:
  • (1) Are under medical treatment.
  • (2) Have diarrhea with fever, blood in stool, or persistent mucus in stool.
  • (3) Have severe acute diarrhea or diarrhea accompanied by abdominal pain, bloating, or nausea. (Forcibly stopping diarrhea may worsen the underlying condition.)
  • (4) Have an anal condition requiring you to avoid constipation. (This product may cause constipation.)
  • (5) Are pregnant or possibly pregnant.
  • (6) Are breastfeeding.
  • (7) Are elderly.
  • (8) Have had allergic reactions to medicines.
  • Stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson — bringing this package insert with you — if any of the following side effects appear:
  • Skin: rash, redness, or itching
  • Digestive: loss of appetite, abdominal pain, nausea, bloating, constipation, abdominal discomfort, or vomiting
  • Nervous system: dizziness
  • If constipation or drowsiness occur and persist or worsen, stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson — bringing this package insert with you.
  • If symptoms do not improve after 2–3 days, stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson, bringing this package insert with you.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not transfer to another container. Do not use after the expiry date.
