Age Dose per use Times per day
Adults (18 and older) 1 spray into each nostril 2 times daily (morning and evening)
Under 18 years Do not use
  • Shake the container gently before use. Hold the container upright — lying it on its side prevents the spray from misting properly.
  • This product contains beclomethasone dipropionate (a steroid). Overuse or incorrect use may increase the risk of side effects — follow the prescribed dosage and method strictly. For nasal use only. If you taste the spray after use, rinse your mouth.
  • Blow your nose before use to clear the nasal passages. When using for the first time, press the pump several times until the spray mists properly. Insert the nozzle straight into the nostril — do not direct it toward the nasal septum. Right-handed users tend to direct toward the right nasal septum; left-handed users toward the left — be especially careful. Be careful not to let the nozzle tip touch nasal discharge, as this may contaminate the spray. Wipe the nozzle area with a tissue after each use. Do not pierce the nozzle tip with a pin or needle, as this is extremely dangerous if the nozzle breaks.
  • Do not use this product if you:
  • (1) Have been diagnosed with any of the following: systemic fungal infection, tuberculosis, high blood pressure, diabetes, recurrent nosebleeds, asthma, glaucoma, or infectious disease.
  • (2) Have a purulent nasal passage (follicular infection causing accumulation of pus with pain and swelling).
  • (3) Have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or beclomethasone dipropionate preparations.
  • (4) Are under 18 years of age.
  • (5) Are pregnant or possibly pregnant.
  • (6) Have used a steroid nasal spray for 3 months or more within the past year.
  • Do not use this product — combined with other steroid nasal sprays — for more than 3 months in any 1-year period. If use beyond 3 months is needed, consult an ear, nose, and throat specialist, as another condition may be present.
  • After using this product, do not use other steroid nasal sprays, unless prescribed by a doctor.
  • Seek immediate medical attention if any of the following serious symptoms appear:
  • • Shock (anaphylaxis): Itching of skin, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, itchy throat, difficulty breathing, palpitations, or clouded consciousness immediately after use.
  • Consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if you:
  • (1) Are under medical treatment.
  • (2) Are receiving allergy treatment such as desensitization therapy.
  • (3) Have pain in the head, forehead, or cheeks with yellow or green nasal discharge (may indicate infectious sinusitis).
  • (4) Are breastfeeding.
  • (5) Have had allergic reactions to medicines or other substances.
  • (6) Are unsure whether your symptoms are caused by seasonal allergy or another condition.
  • (7) Are elderly.
  • (8) Have hypertrophic rhinitis (*1) or nasal polyps (*2).
  • 1: Heaviness around the nose with small amounts of mucus or yellow/green nasal discharge.
  • 2: Nasal congestion, nasal voice, or sensation of something in the back of the nose.
  • (9) Are receiving long-term or high-dose systemic steroid therapy.
  • Stop use immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson — bringing this package insert with you — if any of the following occur after use:
  • Nasal: Nosebleeds, crusting inside the nose, irritation, itching, dryness, discomfort, sneezing attacks, altered sense of smell, or signs of infection (pus with pain and swelling)
  • Throat: Irritation, sensation of something in the throat, or signs of infection (whitish pus in the back of the throat with pain and swelling)
  • Skin: Rash, redness, itching, or swelling
  • Nervous system: Headache or dizziness
  • Digestive: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or loss of appetite
  • Other: Onset of asthma, eye pain, blurred vision, palpitations, or increased blood pressure
  • Stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson — bringing this package insert with you — if pain develops in the head, forehead, or cheeks, or if nasal discharge becomes yellow or green, as another condition may have developed.
  • If symptoms do not improve after about 1 week of use (up to 4 times daily), stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson, bringing this package insert with you.
