Cold medicine - maple syrup-flavored fine granules for children aged 1 to under 15 years
Fine granules
Relief of cold symptoms: runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, cough, phlegm, sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.
Active Ingredients (per 3 packets (4.5 g))
Acetaminophen 450 mg
Tipepidine hibenzate 37.5 mg
Chlorpheniramine maleate 3.75 mg
Nandina domestica fruit extract 67 mg (equivalent to 670 mg crude drug)
Inactive Ingredients
Sucrose, magnesium stearate, calcium silicate, flavoring, ethyl vanillin, vanillin, propylene glycol
Instructions for Use
- âTake within 30 minutes after a meal if possible, with water or lukewarm water.

- âChildren should take under adult supervision.
- âFor children under 2 years: seek medical attention first; give this medicine only when unavoidable.
- âFollow the recommended dosage strictly.
- âDo not use if you have had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients.
- âDo not use if you have had asthma triggered by this product, another cold medicine, or a pain reliever/fever reducer.
- âDo not take together with other cold medicines, pain relievers/fever reducers, sedatives, cough suppressants/expectorants, or antihistamine-containing oral medicines such as rhinitis medicines, motion sickness medicines, or allergy medicines.
- âDo not operate vehicles or machinery after taking this medicine, as drowsiness may occur.
- âDo not drink alcohol before or after taking this medicine.
- âDo not use long-term.
- âSeek immediate medical attention if any of the following serious side effects occur:
- âĒ Shock (anaphylaxis): Itching, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, itchy throat, difficulty breathing, palpitations, or clouded consciousness shortly after taking.
- âĒ Stevens-Johnson syndrome / toxic epidermal necrolysis / acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis: High fever, eye redness, eye discharge, sores on the lips, sore throat, widespread skin rash or redness, small pustules on reddened skin, general malaise, or loss of appetite that persists or rapidly worsens.
- âĒ Drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome: Widespread skin redness, generalized rash, fever, general malaise, or swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, or groin.
- âĒ Liver dysfunction: Fever, itching, rash, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes), dark urine, general malaise, or loss of appetite.
- âĒ Kidney disorder: Fever, rash, decreased urination, swelling throughout the body, general malaise, joint pain, or diarrhea.
- âĒ Interstitial pneumonia: Shortness of breath when climbing stairs or with slight exertion, difficulty breathing, dry cough, or fever that appears suddenly or persists.
- âĒ Asthma: Wheezing or whistling when breathing, or difficulty breathing.
- âĒ Aplastic anemia: Bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, fever, pale skin or mucous membranes, fatigue, palpitations, shortness of breath, feeling unwell and lightheaded, or blood in the urine.
- âĒ Agranulocytosis: Sudden high fever, chills, or sore throat.
- â Consult a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if you:
- (1) Are under medical or dental treatment.
- (2) Are pregnant or possibly pregnant.
- (3) Have had allergic reactions to medicines or other substances.
- (4) Have high fever or difficulty urinating.
- (5) Have been diagnosed with heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, gastric or duodenal ulcer, or glaucoma.
- âStop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson, bringing this package insert with you, if any of the following occur after taking:
- Skin: Rash, redness, itching
- Digestive system: Nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite
- Nervous system: Dizziness
- Urinary: Difficulty urinating
- Other: Excessive drop in body temperature
- âIf dry mouth or drowsiness persists or worsens after taking, stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson, bringing this package insert with you.
- âIf symptoms do not improve after 5â6 doses, stop and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson, bringing this package insert with you.
- âStore in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not transfer to another container. Do not use after the expiry date.
Additional Information
Maple syrup-flavored fine granules in individual stick packets. Nandina domestica fruit extract and tipepidine hibenzate are included for cough relief.
