Diclofenac sodium analgesic anti-inflammatory cream
Cream 30 g
Lower back pain, shoulder pain associated with stiffness, joint pain, muscle pain, tenosynovitis (hand and wrist pain), elbow pain (such as tennis elbow), bruises, sprains
Active Ingredients (per 1 g)
Diclofenac sodium 10 mg
Inactive Ingredients
l-Menthol, white petrolatum, isopropyl myristate, squalane, propylene glycol, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, dibutylhydroxytoluene, methylparaben, butylparaben, carboxyvinyl polymer, pH adjuster, and 2 other ingredients
Instructions for Use
- ✓Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 3 to 4 times daily.
- ✕Do not use more than 50 g per week.
- ✓Avoid contact with eyes. If the product enters the eye, rinse immediately with water or lukewarm water. If symptoms are severe, see an ophthalmologist.
- ✕Do not cover the application area with plastic wrap or other non-breathable materials.
- ✓For external use only.
- ✓Wash hands after applying.
- ✕Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients.
- ✕Do not use if you have ever had asthma.
- ✕Do not use if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
- ✕Do not use on children under 15.
- ✕Do not use on the following areas:
- (1) In or around the eyes, or on mucous membranes
- (2) Areas with delicate skin (such as the face, scalp, or underarms)
- (3) Areas with eczema, skin rash, or open wounds
- (4) Areas affected by athlete's foot, ringworm, or skin infection
- ✕Do not use other topical analgesic or anti-inflammatory products at the same time.
- ✕Do not use for extended periods.
- ⚠Consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if you:
- (1) Are under the care of a physician.
- (2) Have ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine or other product.
- (3) Are taking new quinolone antibiotics.
- ✓Stop use immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson — bringing this package insert with you — if any of the following side effects appear:
- Skin: Rash, redness, itching, contact dermatitis, swelling, pain, irritation, warmth, dry skin, scaling, blisters, or hyperpigmentation
- ✓Stop use immediately and seek emergency medical attention if you experience any of the following serious symptoms:
- Anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction): Skin itching, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, throat itching, difficulty breathing, palpitations, or loss of consciousness shortly after use.
- Contact dermatitis or photosensitivity: Severe skin inflammation at the application site with intense itching, rash, redness, swelling, irritation, blisters, or skin breakdown; hyperpigmentation or white patches. Symptoms may spread throughout the body or appear and worsen in areas exposed to sunlight.
- ✓Stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson — bringing this package insert with you — if symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 days of use.
Additional Information
Keep the cap tightly closed and store in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
Use as soon as possible after opening, even if within the expiration date.
